Dr Giselle Crawford

As a Fertility Specialist & Gynaecologist, I have over ten years of experience in Obstetrics, Gynaecology & Infertility.

My Medical Degree was earned at the University of Newcastle, where I graduated with Honours. Later, I pursued a Master of Reproductive Medicine at the University of New South Wales.

I am a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RANZCOG). Training was undertaken at both the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital (Sydney) and Royal Hospital for Women (Sydney). Additional expertise was garnered at the Homerton University Hospital (London). An additional three years were dedicated to sub-speciality training, leading to certification as a Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility Subspecialist (CREI) – the highest qualification for fertility specialists in Australia and New Zealand.

Committed to exceptional quality care, understanding and supporting patients through the intricacies of fertility treatment is a priority. Recognizing the emotional challenges many face, ensuring patients are equipped with the necessary information and support is essential.

Staying abreast of the latest research and practices is imperative to me. My dedication to professional development ensures patients receive evidence-based care. Research is another area of passion, marked by multiple published studies and ongoing research projects. As a staunch advocate for education, involvement includes training medical students and junior doctors and holding a Conjoint Lecturer position at the University of New South Wales.

Currently, I serve as a Visiting Medical Officer at The Royal Hospital for Women, Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, and Prince of Wales Private Hospital. Private consultations can be scheduled at both the Monash IVF CBD clinic and Alana Healthcare.
